Winegrowers by family tradition, Bodegas Fernando Castro has 380 hectares of vines, nailed in the Finca Los Altos, personally supervised by the Castro Family. Because we know that the grape variety defines the personality of the wine, we grow difference types of grapes. 

This means we can make wines with a unique style and personality so you can always find the perfect wine for every occasion
Tempranillo, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah are the varieties we use for our red wines. Of these, Tempranillo (also known as Cencibel) is unquestionably the most representative grape of our vines.

An early-ripening grape with a moderate production output, Tempranillo produces intensely aromatic wines that are ideal for ageing both in the barrel and the bottle.
